A K-12 school in Stevensville, MD is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with qualifications to support students across all grade levels. This contract position spans the current school year (CSY), providing an opportunity to contribute to student development through targeted speech and language services in an educational setting.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working as an SLP within school-based settings
- Expertise in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in children ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Strong understanding of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and special education laws
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments to identify students needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students in individual and group settings
- Monitor and document student progress regularly
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to promote student success
- Participate in team meetings, including IEP meetings and consultations
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations regarding special education
